JUNE

We are all cups. Constantly and quietly being filled.
The trick is knowing how to tip ourselves over and let  the beautiful stuff out.

 The Best Month

Raise your hand if you think June is probably the best month of the year! My flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, the sun is warm, and there’s a gentle breeze blowing in the windows. So far in the first 2 days of June, we’ve seen a hummingbird drinking from the last of the poker plant blooms, a small snake warming itself in the grass, and a large Antheraea Polyphemus moth resting on the garage door. I can just about hear the beach calling my name…

 Exciting Possibilities

The Studio is still a mess because we haven’t gotten the library card catalog yet, but there’s always a space for art to continue. This week I joined in the #colorcrushcreative and #atcad2017 IG projects; I donated two pieces of artwork for a fundraiser; and I completed my application for The Crafter’s Workshop Design Team. Wish me luck with the Design Team venture!! I won’t find out if I’ve made it for a few weeks, but I’m praying it will be good news! Yes, June is a great month with so many wonderful possibilities. Don’t worry, I’ll let you know about them all!

 Art

Instead of one piece of art, I thought I’d share some photos from this week. I hope you enjoy them.

This was the first of the #colorcrushcreative pieces that I did. I blogged about it on Tuesday. (Read Happy Home here.)

The second #colorcrushcreative piece was this one.

The third #colorcrushcreative piece was an abstract. How many houses do you see?
There are 7 houses - 6 were painted intentionally, and one was done by accident. The dark blue on the top left just turned out to be a house. :-)
I've completed 2 ATCs with the #atcad2017 challenge.

Finally, 2 pics of the beautiful Antheraea Polyphemus moth.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and will join me every  Tuesday and  Friday for more blog posts at arteverydaystudio.blogspot.com.

Art in the Studio makes every day a good day.
Thanks for spending time with ArtEveryDayStudio!
