CONGRATULATIONS! YOU’VE BEEN PUBLISHED!

Life is too short to be unhappy.
Don't be afraid to go for what you really want.

RUN!

Walk. NO! Don’t walk - RUN to your nearest Barnes & Noble or Michael’s stores and pick up a copy of the OCT/NOV/DEC issue of ART Journaling magazine (available in October) because inside you will see an 8 page, (YES 8 PAGES), spread featuring Patty Eskridge’s Grungy Aesthetic!!!! Pinch Me!!!

Ok, let me catch my breath so I can tell you that YES, I am the ARTIST PROFILE for the OCT/NOV/DEC issue of ART Journaling and I couldn’t be more on top of the world! Remember back in the spring when I sent my journal to a magazine hoping they would publish it and the article I sent with it? Well, they loved it and wanted to feature the journal and me in a multi-page spread. Believe me, when I read the email stating that they wanted to feature me, I was very close to hyperventilating! My daughter had to help me send a response, because my hands were shaking, I couldn’t think clearly to type something coherent, and I kept misspelling everything!

BRIAN

When I received my complimentary copy in the mail, it just seemed so surreal to see my artwork published. AND…after I received the issue, I took it to Barnes & Noble where I talked with Brian, the manager.

“Hi, Brian. I’m not an author, but I am an artist and I'm featured in this magazine that you sell (holding magazine open to show him my article), and I was wondering if you would like for me to promote the magazine in person?”

“Sure! We could set you up at a table. And I’ll let Brittany know so she can talk with you about displaying some of your artwork in the café.”
(Inside you can believe I was squealing!)

I don’t have a date yet, but you can be sure that I will share it and hope to see you all at Barnes & Noble!!

THE ART

Note: I have received some products from The Crafter's Workshop; however, even though I use and love their products, all opinions are solely my own. #ad #advertising #sponsor

I have included some shots of the magazine spread. Please enjoy.

That is very exciting news for sure! But, remember from last week's post, I told you there were 2 weeks worth of exciting news. So...stop back next week to read all about that.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and will join me here every Saturday for another blog post and on Facebook and Instagram
